WALLOW Foundation
Benjamin Powers, a virtual reality entrepreneur, formed WALLOW Foundation in memory of his Mother, Lynn Powers. Lynn died on March 1st, 2016 of an unexpected heart attack shortly after meeting Ben’s brand new baby girl, Lillian; she was only 65 and in excellent health. Lynn was a well know watercolor painter and teacher beloved by many.
WALLOW Foundation, a non-profit, focuses on 3 main missions: To use visual technologies to improve art awareness in Oregon communities… operate a virtual reality art gallery in Carlton, Oregon showcasing fine art along with a virtual reality experience of the artist’s studio and places of inspiration… To offer art instruction at WALLOW Gallery and provide youth ‘pop-up’ art classes in underprivileged Oregon towns.
